Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Faculty of Arts & Science - Translation and Interpreting Department is organizing the 2^nd International Congress on Academic Studies in Translation and Interpreting Studies (ICASTIS) on 30 September – 2 October 2024. The congress focuses on original and innovative academic studies on translation and interpreting. The aim of the congress is to provide a platform for scholars from different contexts of Translation and Interpreting Studies to share their ideas and experience on theoretical and practical issues of translation or interpreting.

About Bolu

Bolu is a cozy city in northwestern part of Türkiye. It is located between the two metropolitan cities: Istanbul (260 kms – 3 hours by bus) and Ankara (190 kms – 2 hours by bus). Its current population is approximately 250,000 in the city center.
